Daring to Uphold Values

The Professional Development and Personal Growth Book Club is reading Dare to Lead by Brene Brown.

Brene Brown's 2018 Dare to Lead is inspiring employees in the Personal Growth and Professional Development Book Club at Jovian Concepts this season. With an emphasis on leading with empathy, Brown encourages all players to use courage to uphold values. At Jovian Concepts, with our commitment to the Core Values our employees identified, Brown's advice is both enlightening and reassuring.

The Personal Growth and Professional Development Book Club (through PBC Guru) is recognized in our recent internal employee survey as one of the many ways Jovian Concepts supports our Core Values. Along with regular growth-and-development goal setting, employee sections that are small to facilitate open communication, and generous paid-time-off and tuition assistance, Jovian Concepts helps employees enjoy work-life balance while working toward their personal and professional goals. In the same survey, employees overwhelming identified progress toward such goals.

As we prepare for the upcoming holiday season, many of us will pack Brown's book for quiet reflection. Being part of a professional culture that focuses on Core Values as a way to support the members of our team is something for which we are truly thankful. Learn more about our values and culture by exploring our web site.

We at Jovian Concepts wish you and yours a peaceful Thanksgiving season.
