Jovian Concepts Giving Campaign: American Red Cross Disaster Relief for South Carolina

A note from the President: Our corporate philanthropic mission statement is:

Jovian Concepts strives to enrich the environment in which our employees work and live, primarily by supporting educational programs and programs aimed at improving the lives of U.S. Armed Forces

The recent flooding disaster in South Carolina is certainly relevant to the first part of that statement.

Several of us have made the trek back and forth to Augusta from Charlotte and have driven through some of these heavily impacted areas many times. I’m sure many Jovians, especially our southies, have friends and families impacted by this disaster, which is of epic proportions. Meanwhile, we in Maryland were very fortunate to dodge that bullet. The American Red Cross of the Chesapeake Region Disaster Relief Services had emergency operations set up and ready to roll when the governor of Maryland declared a state of emergency last Friday. Since then, all of those resources have been deployed to South Carolina.

The American Red Cross is working day and night to help people across the Carolinas where unprecedented flooding has destroyed homes, forced evacuations and left thousands without water or power.

Staying true to our philanthropic mission, the Board of Directors of Jovian Concepts is asking our employees to participate in a gift campaign to assist disaster relief operations in South Carolina.

For every dollar donated by a Jovian, the company will match with a dollar.

Please visit the following website for details on how to contribute Any amount, no matter how small, is appreciated.

Thank you for your generosity and for displaying the core Jovian values of community and family support that we all cherish.
