In Memoriam: Don Cole

A note from the President:

The Jovian Concepts family is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own: Don Cole.

I had the pleasure of working with Don while I was on contract a few years ago. At the time, he was working for another company, and I was impressed by the level of trust the customer placed in him. Don proved to be hard working and easy going, yet passionate in his convictions, and he made it clear he would never betray his own sense of integrity even if it cost him politically in the office. He was indispensable yet humble – everything we look for in a Jovian employee.

Needless to say I was very pleased when Don accepted our offer to come to Jovian Concepts in the summer of 2013. In fact, Don was the only person that both the customer and the program manager would accept in the position we had to fill, based on his solid reputation. He became a team favorite in a short time – a time that was unfortunately cut too short due to the onset o

f his illness.

Don was fun loving and full of life. He embraced the Jovian culture with enthusiasm, and his distinct laugh could be heard at every happy hour, party, and get together. Don made friends easily, and as such he will be sorely missed by his customers, colleagues, fellow Jovians, and me.
