August is National Wellness Month
Dog days of summer leaving you too warm to move? That makes August the perfect time to step up the focus on wellness!
At Jovian Concepts, our Get Moving Challenge keeps us --quite literally-- on our toes. Jovians work toward their personal goals and sometimes against each other in this year-round competition. Having the option to also be part of a Crew keeps motivation high. Participants celebrate progress and challenge each other to add movement to each day.
August hasn't slowed this challenge one bit!
This summer we've seen challenges for:
dancing chores
jumping jacks
deep breathing
Spiderman push-ups
lunges
and more!
Incorporating movement into our routines is a Big Idea that's part of a broad approach to wellness at Jovian Concepts.
Sharing what we've learned is another Big Idea. Our Corporate Counsel Michelle Marzullo, Esq., was a panelist earlier this season on the "Eight Pillars of Attorney Well-Being" presented by the Association of Corporate Counsel as part of the ACC Global Women in the Law and Leadership Symposium. Moderated by Jennifer Clayton, NY Bar Attorney Well-Being Program Manager, the discussion touched on Balance, one of the Core Values at Jovian Concepts.
