Loyalty is active support for a person or an idea, and it is expressed in various ways. Most people would agree that it is part of any healthy relationship, whether that relationship is one between people or between a company and the community. Loyalty can apply to how employees actively support each other, the mission, and the company. It also describes a commitment Jovian Concepts has towards employees, the mission, and the community.
This commitment is in the forefront of everything we do at Jovian Concepts. Merit increases, spot awards, annual recognition, and incentive plans are some ways Jovian Concepts actively supports employees. Emergency leave bank participation and the many activities that support a cohesive culture are ways employees support each other. As one employee wrote in a recent survey, "Jovian Concepts has continued to grow as a company and it's apparent to me as an employee their primary focus is still the employee and not their profit margins. Instead of changing things that only benefited the senior managers Jovian [Concepts] has increased pay and benefits, even during the current pandemic."
Employees and community members likewise increased their giving during the pandemic, doubling the amount donated in our clothing and food drives and increasing the funds raised during the Jovian Concepts Golf Tournament to benefit the American Red Cross National Capital and Chesapeake Region's Service to the Armed Forces.
