The Calvert Hall Robotics Team 5588 returned this weekend from Anaheim, California, where they competed in the World Robotics Championship.

The team reported:

"It was a great trip and all the boys had a really good time.

Team 5588T had the most success. At the end of the tournament they were ranked 16 of 86 teams in their division, having won 7 out of 10 qualifying matches. They were selected for the divisional playoffs but were unfortunately eliminated in the Quarter Finals.

Team 5588C were ranked 37th out of 86 teams in their division with a record of 5 wins, 4 losses and 1 tie. Team 5588A was 67th in their division with a record of 3 wins and 7 losses. And Team 5588E ended the tournament with a record of 2 wins and 8 losses.

The boys behaved like Calvert Hall men, humble and grateful in victory and defeat. They are now looking forward to the new game for next year."
