Hosting a Family Picnic Is a Big Idea

Every year, before summer draws to a close, the extended Jovian Concepts family gathers to celebrate the anniversary of the company. The annual family picnic is a favorite tradition for many Jovians. Loud giggling and the line for the slip-and-slide is proof that it's also a favorite among the Jovian children.

Each location plans a celebration that embraces the unique flavors of the local area. Jovians bring food and drinks to share, including the watermelon shown in this post. That carving is a favorite of ours!

From beach pavilions to back yards, Jovians gather with friends and families to savor the end of summer. They might try a few chili recipes (for an industry competition) and cocktail recipes (for our December holiday party), but the main goal is to simply relax together outside of the work environment.

Family picnics are one of many opportunities for Jovians and their Plus Ones to experience the cohesive culture Jovian Concepts is known for. Other activities include mini-golf outings, happy hours, baseball or basketball games, arts and crafts sessions, volunteering, book club, Lego group, dinners, and our two largest events, the holiday party and teambuilding retreat.

Providing a variety of activities for employees to get to know each other and their families is a Big Idea.

After all, Big Ideas are Jovian Concepts.
