Contest Tradition Inspires Us

Many of our favorite traditions come from suggestions Jovians make. Our annual drink recipe contest is a delicious example of this. The contest is open to all Jovians and their Plus Ones. It inspires the mixologist in all of us and combines two events that bring us together in the spirit of our Core Value Cohesiveness-- our family picnic and our holiday party.

The late summer picnic offers time to show off and tweak recipes in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Throughout the fall, recipes are shared, and individuals have the opportunity to try the recipes at home.

Then, with the help of our holiday party caterer, Jovians vote on the winning recipe that will have the honor of being served at our December party. This year we'll enjoy Blue Christmas!

Each year we are impressed and amazed at the creativity both Jovians and their Plus Ones bring to the contest, from the naming of their recipes to the mocktail alternatives offered for most.
