Chocolate Sweetens A Rainy Day

On a rainy Saturday morning several employees of Jovian Concepts and their families met up at D.C. chocolate factory, Harper Macaw, to spend some time together and most importantly taste some delicious chocolate. The company, founded by a former U.S. Marine and his wife, focuses on helping rainforest reforestation.

Participants first enjoyed an informative video on Harper Maccaw before moving into the factory to see the process from start to finish. The tour ended with a sampling of chocolate pieces of varying cacao levels. Visiting the chocolate factory was both educational and tasty- a great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon with co-workers.
