Fill the Pantry Shelves for Students
Jovian Concepts is collecting grab-and-go pantry items for student at Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). The CCBC Student Life Pantries supply meals, school supplies, and hygiene products to CCBC students and their families who are struggling with food insecurity and basic necessities. Different from a typical food drive, Jovian Concepts is collecting items unique to student life-- items that can be quickly prepared between classes, easily fit into a bookbag, and require few additional skills or tools. In other words, no can openers needed!
granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, chips in single serve sizes
tuna"on the run" packs or single serve packages
Maruchan Instant Lunch 2.25oz packs
Hormel "Compleats", Chef Boyardee, or Dinty Moore meal cups (7.5-10 oz microwavable bowls)
applesauce cups and similar fruit cups
Pop Tarts, Quaker Oats instant oatmeal express cups, pancake cups and other quick breakfast options
Gatorade and juices in 10 oz or similar individual sizes
travel size mouthwash, toothpaste, deodorant, and other hygiene products
spiral notebooks, folders, pens, loose leaf paper, and similar school supplies
In the first two months of the fall semester, 366 students visited the CCBC pantries 1,013 times and received 3,366 items. Jovian Concepts supports the idea of removing obstacles that get in the way of education. If you would like to help us in this mission, consider donating some of the following items at our corporate headquarters between January 19 and February 24 or visit the wish list on Amazon.com and donate directly to the Student Life Pantry.
We will have a collection box in the lobby of the Jovian Concepts corporate headquarters until February 24:
