Curious about the award-winning corporate culture at Jovian Concepts? With so much happening this season, this is a great time to get to know us. Take a look at some of our events and activities:
Our ongoing Get Moving Challenge has Jovians moving through the cold weather. We completed a stairs challenge in December and look forward to what one of our members challenges us to do this month, as each month brings a new way to Get Moving!
Our internal video blog, Snack Chat, has kept us entertained this season as we get to know each other through the food we love. From preferred Halloween candy to favorite chips, this series of regular video shorts is food for thought. (See what we did there?)
You know Jovians wear our branding in all sorts of situations, but have you noticed many wearing red on Fridays? These burgundy-colored polos are meant to draw attention to service members and contractors currently deployed for our nation. Remembering Everyone Deployed (R.E.D.) keeps Jovians and those who see our R.E.D. shirts reminded of the mission.
With so many veterans working at Jovian Concepts, it was especially good news to learn that our company is again recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor with a HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion for recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans. Programs such as SkillBridge and our internal Veterans Connect resource group, as well as broader benefits that make Jovian Concepts a Top Workplace, helped us earn the award while benefiting those who have served our nation.
Philanthropy in earlier this winter included Wreaths Across America and a Toys for Tots collection for the Marine Corps Reserves. Both efforts are holiday traditions at Jovian Concepts and include our extended community members who also contribute. The generosity of Jovians and their families never fails to impress and surprise us. This winter we increased our contributions to Wreaths Across America by 125%!
The Jovian Concepts Professional Development and Personal Growth Book Club finished reading Material World by Ed Conway at the end of December. It made for perfect cocktail hour conversation at our recent pickle-tasting happy hour, gift exchange, and holiday party!
Speaking of our annual holiday tradition, we had a wonderful time celebrating the close of 2025 at the Frederick Douglass - Isaac Myers Maritime Museum. Jovians and their Plus Ones enjoyed food, drink, transportation, and a stay at the luxurious Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore. And what holiday party would be complete without dancing and gifts? It was a memorable night, for sure.
