Get Involved with Jovian Concepts -- Late Winter 2022
Winter offers plenty of opportunity to reflect and focus. It's the perfect time to get involved with our Core Values of Personal Growth and Cohesiveness.
Giveaway January is nudging Jovians toward their Personal Growth and Professional Development goals. A welcomed opportunity for Jovians reviewing their annual Growth Plans, Giveaway January helps any Jovian looking to hunker down with a good book or learn a new skill this winter. The array of topics covered in our book giveaway is as diverse as our Jovians: topics range from parenting to Block Chain, and from resume writing to stained glass crafting. Returning to our annual giveaway again this year is premier membership to the Calm app, which has been helping many Jovians relax and reflect each day. Word spread about the usefulness of the app, and Jovian Concepts is pleased to provide this perk for our employees.
If increased activity is on the list of New Year resolutions, our Get Moving Challenge offers a way to work towards that goal in an encouraging forum. Winter has some Jovians spending a little more time on Pelotons than usual, but there are still plenty of hours logged in the gym and even hikes through the ice. Most common question this season: Does shoveling snow count as exercise? We say, YES! Several Jovians have already reached the Bronze Level benchmark in our Get Moving Challenge. Congratulations to them!
Online Bingo with Heather Johnson this month takes a sweet turn with her annual UN-Valentine BINGO night! There is sure to be chocolate at this fun event that brings Jovians and their Plus Ones together for prizes and really corny jokes. And there is also usually a cat walking across a keyboard or a rowdy pup to make us laugh, too.
Happy Hours have returned to our Maryland and Georgia locations, just in time for our All Hands meetings. Hearing directly from our company president each quarter helps keep Jovians in-the-know and allows time to ask questions and offer suggestions. This open communication is a key part of engagement at Jovian Concepts.
