Whether the cold air inspires you to hunker down with a good book or get outside for some adventure, the cohesive culture at Jovian Concepts is the perfect fit. Take a look at our winter activities calendar to see some of the ways our employees are connecting this winter.

It's the Giveaway season here at Jovian Concepts. To help employees meet their Personal Growth goals, we're giving away books for topics ranging from digital photography and advanced mathematics to yoga and cooking. While we're at it, employees are also trying out the Calm app courtesy of Jovian Concepts.

For those eager to get outside, our employees are leading small group hikes around town. This dog-friendly and kid-friendly activity allows for social distancing while getting some fresh winter air. It's also a great way to learn some new hiking trails.

Our Personal Growth and Professional Development Book Club is reading Atomic Habits by James Clear. The simple methods described in the book resonate with many employees, so this book is creating a buzz

Bingo is back with an un-Valentine evening in February complete with prizes. Hosted by our Senior Vice President, this virtual event promises a sweet time for employees and their families. Conversation hearts and chocolate are completely optional!

Winter is a good time to clean out your glove compartment and desk drawer -- if you find any old eyewear, consider bringing it to our office. Throughout January and February we are collecting gently used prescription glasses, kids' eyewear, sunglasses, and readers/cheaters to donate to those in need. You'll find a collection box for the eyewear in our office entrance.
