The Get Moving Challenge program at Jovian Concepts invites employees to reach their fitness goals through friendly competition. Jovians find time to work on challenges after work, on weekends, during lunch breaks, and even on our summer teambuilding retreat. The program is slightly different each year to keep everyone on their toes.

Jovians earn points for adding movement to their days, but the bonus points earned through challenges-- well, that's where the real fun begins.

This year, Jovians take turns posing monthly challenges to the group. So far, we've been challenged to cycle 50 miles (January), focus on heart health (February), march more (March...see what we did there?), walk outside in any weather (April), and reach for 350,000 steps (May).

Along the way, individual Jovians shake things up by adding smaller challenges, such as "do a continuous 2-mile hike, walk, jog, or bike ride" or the favorite snow-day challenge of "shovel your driveway or sidewalk for 30 minutes".

This popular program supports two of our Core Values, Personal Growth and Cohesiveness.

It's a Big Idea to encourage each other to stay healthy.
