There's Music in These Hills - the Jovian Concepts 2025 Teambuilding Leadership Retreat

Music was all around us as Jovians and our Plus Ones spent a week near Nashville, Tennessee, this summer for our leadership development and teambuilding retreat. Our annual trip allowed us to explore various aspects of our company, including our culture, leadership strategies, and the benefits of being Jovian.

We enjoyed learning about each other while trying some unusual but entertaining activities.

Did you know more Jovians prefer live music to recorded? Like acoustic more than electric? Would rather listen to the Beatles than to Elvis?
Our leadership team gained access to a speakeasy with playing cards. That seemed very familiar!
There were multiple jam-sessions, in more ways than one.
Professional songwriters spent an afternoon with us crafting theme songs for Jovian Concepts that we look forward to sharing. Everyone got a taste of what it's like to be a singer-songwriter.
A shared meal with a great view capped our week and provided one of the most intense Jenga competitions we've seen lately.
Kazoo-playing is a learned skill. Some of us are naturals, though!

Being surrounded by nature and music gave us plenty of opportunity for reflection. Hiking, sharing meals, venturing into Music City, taking deep dives into corporate matters, and having conversations with Jovians and their Plus Ones from all our locations helped us appreciate the Core Values Jovians share: Balance, Cohesiveness, Professionalism, Loyalty, and Personal Growth.
